For one night only, Aaron Roche (Brooklyn) will grace the Easy Lemon loft with his enormous musical presence and present a NY-style “happening” that will be unforgettable. Tim Hinck on prepared piano and Dan Burns on percussion join forces with this fascinating indie-electronic-folk composer/songwriter. Expect visuals, words, and sounds that will surprise and enrich.
Over the past two years, Roche and Hinck have been collaborating on recordings and compositions that range in influence from the classical electro-acoustic minimalism of Steve Reich, to Lo-Fi, indie-folk fuzz, to the rhythmic complexity of Bartok’s chamber music. Roche’s recent collaborations with Canon Blue, R. Stevie Moore, Mike Odmark, and Half-Handed Could have produced several multi-faceted albums.
